A wise woman once said to me "if you have raw meat then you must seek fire".

These are words which have resonated in my head for most of my life and have been there when I celebrated success and even more so when I have failed.

I have shared them with others when the situation seemed fitting and I now use them as a personal challenge.

After many years of channeling my thoughts and views, love and pain into poems, I finally compiled and completed my collection.

Verses that reflected my existence and the things that affected me and those around me, a poetic script of my life.

My second poetry collection Skinless. A continued journey. A trek through life. I have written and compiled my thoughts, ideas and reflections in poetic form. I have spoken profoundly of love, pain and joy. My Food

As a self taught chef, food has proven to be more of a journey than vocation. Having worked in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years, I have had the privilege of working with some very talented individuals and been able to gain experience in many different capacities and in numerous facets of the hospitality industry.

Food is my true passion, one that leads me to experiment, learn and improve on what I am able to do and produce. I enjoy cooking as much as I do eating and take great pleasure in submerging my tastebuds in seas of flavours as I create dishes both for my family and clients alike, so it comes as no surprise to hear that I derive a special and warm feeling when watching people enjoy my fare.
